Add a map to Notion
How does this MapsMaker embed workflow work?
The reliable workflow is to publish your map, choose its access mode, and add the share URL to Notion as a bookmark or link. An inline Notion embed is not currently a verified MapsMaker workflow.
How it works
Use a bookmark or link for the reliable workflow
MapsMaker's hosted `/m/` share page is designed to open as a page, not to be framed by another site. In Notion, paste that share URL and choose a bookmark or plain link rather than promising an inline interactive map.
Choose the access mode before sharing
The Notion page's audience should determine the MapsMaker access mode. Notion access and MapsMaker map access are separate controls.
Example: a private trip-planning page
A trip page can use an Unlisted MapsMaker link as a Notion bookmark, then explain the itinerary, meeting points, and emergency details in Notion text.
About experimental inline embedding
MapsMaker's paid `/embed/` route is allowed to be framed, but an interactive Notion embed has not been verified in a real Notion workspace as part of this implementation.
Troubleshooting and Notion limitations
Notion does not guarantee that every external site can be embedded. A bookmark is the stable fallback because it does not require the map page to run inside a Notion iframe.
