Map customers and accounts for sales coverage
What does this map workflow help you build?
Turn a reviewed business-account spreadsheet into a searchable map for coverage planning, account context, and customer-facing location discovery. MapsMaker is a no-code publishing and visualization tool, not a CRM, lead-scoring system, territory solver, or route optimizer.
How it works
What customer mapping software should help you see
A customer map gives a sales, account-management, or partner team geographic context for business records it already owns. It can reveal account concentration, regional gaps, and nearby customers, but the map should support a defined decision rather than become a second, incomplete CRM.
Prepare a public-safe account spreadsheet
MapsMaker accepts CSV, XLS, and XLSX files. Excel imports read the first worksheet, so place one reviewed business location per row there and test a representative sample before the complete import.
Synthetic example: three regional equipment accounts
Consider a fictional equipment supplier reviewing coverage across Chicago, Madison, and Indianapolis. The three preview markers and account names in this example are synthetic; they do not represent real customers or sales activity.
Build a map that stays understandable
After import, verify every pin and organize only the fields a viewer is allowed to see. Configure the map around real coverage questions, then test the search, list, filters, rich records, and CTAs together.
Keep the workflow honest about its limits
MapsMaker does not provide native CRM synchronization, lead scoring, automated territory balancing, or road-route optimization. A later CSV import creates new markers rather than updating matching accounts, so define an owner and a controlled refresh process before relying on the map.
